PSG Ponnammaal Educational Trust was established in the year 1981/(2005) with an objective of establishing educational institutions to provide professional education and training to both sexes for the development of character, law abiding and healthy citizens.

P.S.G Ponnammaal College of Nursing was started as a unit of PSGP Trust. Initially the trust started the college of Education and Polytechnic College. After gaining adequate experience in running educational Institutions, the College of Nursing was started.

The College of Nursing was established at Goundampalayam in wide area of 16.42 acres of land. The environment is more conducive for all round development of the personality of students.

Since the college is located on the Trichy- Coimbatore highway, plenty of Transport facilities are available between Kangayam, Erode, Dharapuram, Vellakovil, Coimbatore and Tiruppur

Our Infrastructure

The college is endowed with excellent infrastructure in an area of 16.42 acres of land. The teaching faculty are highly experienced and well qualified. Spacious class rooms are available for teaching the students. All the labs like Foundation lab, Anatomy lab, Nutrition lab, Community lab, Paediatric lab are equipped adequately. The library consists of adequate books and National and International Journals. It is well equipped with furniture for comfortable reading and writing under the supervision of qualified Librarian. Computer class rooms are furnished with adequate computers with a qualified faculty.

The College is recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council. It is also approved by The Tamilnadu Government and affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
